Hi there! I am 27 yrs old  I am from Russia worked in the  polar city of Norilsk at "Norilsk Nickel" Mining and Metallurgical Company as  a Mechanical engineer   Have a 6 years exp.  in the field of  Maintenance and repair of Tecnological equipment. Not be a better option for someone with your skills and experience?

Western Australia is booming in mining now - work periods of on/off and then take your off time looking around Aussie and the region?

For a "Technician / Mech Eng Assistant" I think you might be looking at around 2000SGD max here in Singapore - they get plenty of these guys from India and China for that amount

I have heard from credible sources that 200,000 Aussie dollars are being earned by labourers and truck drivers - its a fly in / fly out basis and there is accommodation on site usually.

Given your age you might qualify for the working holiday visa - check with your Aussie Embassy
