Organizing a lad's night for a mate getting married soon.

Years ago, I went on one to Tanjong Pagar (around Duxton Hill) and it worked out well.  Bars with girls that could speak English, Filipinas, that we could buy stupidly expensive drinks for who would then hang around and spank the guy getting married and other such harmless silliness for laughs.  Not looking for prostitutes or anything like that, not interested in OT.

Is Tanjong Pagar still like that?  Nightlife areas in SG seem to change a lot.  Any advice for such a scene appreciated.  Thx.

Orchard Towers, a well-known prostitute area here in Singapore (along with Geylang).  Google it, you'll find all the info you want.

Yep, Tanjong Pagar and Duxton Hill pubs are still mostly "Buy Me Drink" (BMD) bars. Good clean fun

Most girlie bars on Duxton Hill and around it have moved out. The area is no longer what it used to be.

Many of the bars have moved to Circular Road, just behind Boat Quay.
