My youngest is just about to start school and I need to fill my mornings with something meaningful for my own sanity. I did try and set up my own company, but had my application quashed before it even got anywhere! I have done some voluntary work in the past and found it very rewarding and I think that everyone should be doing volunteering!
Can you give me some ideas of the organizations that need help in Singapore. Preferably somewhere where I can meet some other expats too (as I need to make more friends!)

The American Women's Association (not just for Americans..) not only can help you with volunteering, but also provides lots of ways to get out and meet people. Certainly, any of the many Associations can do this... Join one
