LTSVP application

Hi to all,
Hope someone can clarify as to how an EPEC holder should apply for a Long term social Visit pass.
I have gone through the ICA website and it states that a disembarkation card is one of the documents required upon application. This would mean that one has to have landed in Sinagapore to apply for it.
However, I have read from some posts that it is possible to apply for an LTSVP while in your home country. Also, in the ICA website it says that all applications must be submitted via E-VP or online.
As a follow up question, would it be more advisable to sumbit the application personally or while in your home country
Thanks

You can apply for LTSVP online @
https://ltpass.ica.gov.sg/eltsvp/main.do
But You need to collect it in person @ICA, Singapore.

Hi Challa
Thank you for your advice.
Normally tourist visas are only valid for 30 days, Would it then be wiser to wait until the application is approved in principle before booking a flight to Singapore? or will they allow you to extend the 30 day tourist visa until you can get the results of the LTSVP application.

You get it approved first, and then go there on a visit pass to collect.

Depending on which country you come from SVPs can be valid for up to 90 days, not 30
