If I divorce will I lose my PR and be asked to leave the country? I have PR in my own passport.

1) Did you get your PR because you are married to a citizen or another PR?

2) Do you earn a salary and thus pay tax and CPF?

The authorities will have to be made aware of your new status

i.e. a single woman with no income

Why would someone in that position be given PR status?

That said, they may allow you to stay until your current PR expires, but I would think it unlikely that it would be renewed

Sadly there is little transparency in the process and decisions are not explained.  Best option may be to contact them and ask on an "in principle" basis and see what they say.  Good luck.
