Which undergraduate degree is better or better regarded in the field of construction?
Then what about masters degree level?
I need some serious advise for my career choice. Thank you.

Anyone has an input? Is a degree really necessary when you can just opt for a diploma?

as for degree or diploma, it depends on the level of employment you want.
Sure, one can be a senior manager with dip and some employers opt that you can have dip with x+y years exp OR degree with x years. with dip, time wise you get there in a longer time frame
CE or CM option 1, a friend was in CE and then masters in CM. His employer promoted him even after 2 years abroad -and he is demanded in the industry, flies all over SEA for the various projects and a highly valued employee at corporate level. But in 6 years when you complete grad school, the demand could change. There will be lots of challenges as we will be consistently building to accommodate the increasing aging population eg full cycle housing in our land sparse nation.
Option 2 is have a degree or diploma, gain a few years exp and get a PMP cert.
Option 3: work a month at a construction worker during holidays and verify if you like a potential job under and sky--commonly a construction manager is required to be on site visits or site supervisions. Just walk into any construction office and ask for internship- with the current level of FT immigration restrictions and low desirability for manual labor and as a local, the office might welcome you.
Good luck, and feel right picking a priority
