It is precisely your mindset, and way of thinking, that is the problem in Singapore in the first place.
Hey, at least try not to make it so obvious that you are an old guy who has little formal education.... There is no need to feel so insecure about your lack of educational qualifications....at least you obviously are educated enough to read and write, which cannot be said for many S'poreans.
You are from the era of black and white TV and farming, so everyone understands life was tough back then and people had little opportunities.
Anyway please feel free to prove me wrong by telling me how many percent of people who changed the world we live in (i.e. Nobel Prize winners) are illiterate and have no education.
