Not sure this is purely an SQ issue (in fact may be Nuance Watson initiated) but PPS members using their card to buy duty free goods at Changi are no longer given the actual GST back – it’s either the discount (10-15%) or the GST offset… but not both as was customary.

Incredibly petty and infuriating if you ask me.

Why don't u buy before you board the outgoing flight?  There's no GST imposed.

so you don't have to carry there and back... this is about Arrivals purchases, under the tax free scheme (and with PPS card for 10% rebate)

Buying anything after Arrival will attract GST and you won't get a refund as it is assumed that you will not take that item out of Singapore.  So either buy before you fly off or quit whining about having to pay GST.
