Is counseling just for people getting divorced or with serious issues? I am having difficulty at the moment coping and am in a very negative downward spiral. I have had some major issues this year and am finding it difficult to cope with the people around me and the things they do/ being bullied. I feel I need to talk and have someone impartial help me with some coping strategies.

Any ideas? Is it worth seeing a counsellor?

Counselling is good, try to see someone before the Christmas Day when everything gets hectic.

Secondly, see a doctor NOW and he/she might consider anti-depressants. F*** any misgivings, things like Zoloft help take the edge off when you're in a dark tunnel.

Finally, address the root problem of the stress - but that's a long term secondary issue at this point.
