clarke quay last nite was such a long line of empty taxis waiting to pick up at around 11pm. Is it due to the rise of taxi fares? no one taking taxis or just no one going out?

I've never had trouble getting a cab from there around that time of night. I think most people leave the area later, so the queues are longer then.
