Don't settle for anything less than $5k. Signing bonus of $10k is available as well.
Annual compensation should be in the $65k - $80k range.
Anything less means you have been short-changed.

Compensation Expert - what a totally stupid response.

Someone already employed in Singapore on a salary of $1800 a month will just never be considered for such an enormous jump in salary to $5000.  It wont happen.  Neither will the sign on bonus.

Get real and stop giving people a false sense of hope.

These are foreign talents ...not the kiasi and kiasu local talents. They come to Singapore with exceptional skillsets and drive. Employers are willing to pay top dollars for such talents.
Since the foreign talent will be working long hours - those wages are not exceptionally high. It is less than $30/hr. That's cheap labour.

Foreign talents should not settle for less. If you are good, then demand the top pay, otherwise sell your talents elsewhere.

If you are in Singapore earning less than $2k, how did you ever get your work permit? You are better off remaining in your home country with that level of compensation.

Leave Singapore nd come back again. And this time ask for the compensation you deserve. The Singapore government recognizes foreign talent; you need to recognize and present yourself as foreign talent.

Thanks everyone for posting. Actually i came Singapore for visiting purpose . Then i wish to stay here and apply for job through online. At that time i realy dont know about Singapore salary range. I got job offer from two companies at that time.My asking rate is also very low. Now i realise my current package is very very low. And i really dont know how to tackle this.

Resign, go home and try again, or shut up and get over it.

Do not settle for less than you deserve. As a foreigner, you should always ask for 50 percent more than the local package.

You should now tell your employer to pay more or you won't take up the job. He may threaten you with lawsuit ...ignore it.

Good luck.
