Employment contract law

Hi there
Can anyone advise me on employment contract law?
My employment contract says that I cannot solicit business from any of the company's current clients until after 1 year from when my employment contract ends with the company.
If I move to a new company and take relationships/clients from my current company, could they take me to court and would this clause be upheld?
Many thanks
