Hi everyone,

Soon to graduate from a business school in France (Masters Degree with a specialization in Finance) I am eager to start my professional career in Singapore. I have accumulated work experiences of three years (internships, part-time jobs) of which I spent 5 months in Kuala Lumpur. I am German.

I would appreciate you honest opinion of chances to start a career in Singapore. I am looking for an entry position in consulting; audit; finance or the like. Do you have any recommendations regarding my plans? I am aware that it won’t be easy to start a career abroad but do you see any chances?

Thanks in advance!

As you appear to have absolutely no ability to first look at the posts on this forum, you fall into the category that has no initiative or basic research skills.

In the list below this post are several on foreign graduates looking to work in Singapore.  Go look at them and if you still have questions, specific ones, come back and ask.

None

Try working in your own country for a firm that has a Singapore office - then request a transfer

Hi Hanna,
Whilst the job market for foreign graduates may be more challenging (as some posters have pointed out charmingly) I recommend to apply for graduate programmes at international companies (including consultancies).
You simply go to their websites and apply online/via linked in etc. No use of headhunters recommended as they mainly deal with experienced talent.

There are a few hundred of German companies here as well, that may be a good starting point. The German chamber of commerce also at times posts internships that their members want to fill.

Best of luck
