Hello,

I just want to know that do EP impose any sort of restriction for going back to your home country during your OFF from your job?

I have lived in Dubai, and there you can go back to your country to meet your family anytime, as long as your employer permits you and you have the money! Smiley

Yes there are, you can only leave for a maximum of 10 days and need permission in writing from your boss, his son or daughter and stamped and signed by a solicitor.

Last poster has no clue what they are talking about.   There is no restriction provided you have the available leave saved up.

Goes way over your head does it?

Some say it is the lowest form of wit but it takes the highest intellect to appreciate it :-)

It wasnt sarcasm, it was a deliberate attempt to provide false information to someone asking a simple question.

He knows the language and interpreted correctly.  You probably meant "learn the culture."  Which requires a number of assumptions.  Brits do it all the time - which explains a lot of the racism and classism on this board.
