Aside from being next to the airport, miles from anywhere and having tiny apartments - anyone any thoughts on this place?

Congratulations to those 700 who lost their minds and 'snapped up' a unit there just when prices are going through the floor. What were they thinking?

Oh wait, it's an 'integrated' development which means they have MRT and shopping mall.

Geez, MRT and shopping malls were previously so hard to find in Singapore. Grin

The air is very polluted, there are factories opposite in Malaysia. People have complained about black dust. I would check that out before I moved there.

Look mate. You believe that it is overpriced. Perhaps not a good investment.

Fair enough. That is what you believe.

But don't make up stories.

Ah... I'm not interested in buying anywhere!  I almost rented a house up there but read forums and people were complaining, some with asthma had to move.

I wouldn't live in Punggol if they gave me a unit there for free...

Hmmm. What is this black dust you speak of? Is this not the same black dust that occurs just about everywhere here? Why would pollution descend only upon Punggol when nowhere is more than 15 minutes away on this little red dot?

Google pollution Punggol. First thing that comes up is people complaining about Johor refineries spewing smoke day AND night over Punggol.

I don't know why any-one denies this. Perhaps there are many great things about Punggol and you could talk about them, but to deny the obvious is just plain weird.

The point is that there is pollution everywhere. Refineries to the North and South, haze and construction dust. Blah blah blah. Punggol is way more pleasant that Bedok, however, I'll grant you that!
