Hi,

I have been living in Singapore with my family (wife & 2 sons) from 2005 on an Entrepreneur pass (Entreepass) and have been employed as MD /Resident director of our PTE. LTD company. Our company is in the Pharmaceutical business. I had applied for PR for the whole family once in 2007, got rejected. I again applied for a PR for myself in Oct 2011 and just today have been informed that my application is rejected once again. Iam feeling very Sad as I really enjoy living here in Singapore and looking forward to making Singapore our permanent home. My company has been doing fairly well for the last 6 years now and we pay corporate tax as well. My salary us SGD 66,000 plus other allowances. Iam an Indian National & a Pharmacist by qualification. This time I also hired a consultant to apply fro my PR but still in vain. Having living here for the last 6 years, contributing by the way of individual tax, corporate tax & other ways to the country, I was expecting a positive decision by the ICA this time. Can anyone throw some light on to why would have my application been considered negatively again?

Too many Indians applied. Govt. want to maintain current ratios of the 3 races here.

i guess you are unlucky. Had you used a Consultant to apply in the first place, you may have been in the correct pile for approval.

Once your case is rejected it is difficult to reapply

Maybe they have enough locals in your profession?
