TWO WORLD WARS AND TWO WORLD CUPS

Here in Tokyo England completely dominated and showed quite dazzling skills.  Germany were indeed extremely lucky to have scraped back a 3 goal lead held by England when the whistle was blown after extra time.  England won 5 – 0 on penalties.  Football has come home.

Agree with Aceman - how we wish!!!

How often have you heard someone make a reference to Singapore winning the World Cup conferring it almost proverbial status - eg. "Eat durian? Not till the cows come home!"

"Eat durian? Not till Singapore wins the World Cup!"
