Yup - LARD.
In the 70s - Char Kueh Tiow, Oh Luak, Hokkien Mee was cooked using lard.
Now they all use oil and it just ain't the same.
LARD! Yum yum!
I wish they'd bring back Mr Whippy vans - the real ones.
