So i havea good q. not original but good ha.

Id like to ask all the "international" birds/women out there this q. Does anyone else feel that till they get out of here they arent going to find anyone to date?

Im not being anti-Singapore. I even grew up at international schools here. left and have come now come back. Im happy single, and its not like im looking for a life partner, but REALLY a date would be fun once in a blue con moon!

I just am curious. i work in a tad male dominated industry. But all I find, is blokes who are older and think younger 20 somethings fling things, or mixes/ expat whatever blokes in my age range who want to date asian chicks, or girls who arent going to be there equals and have diff opinions, who are challenging and witty and like to talk about books n what not.

And apart from work and some mates (many of whom are attached) you dont tend to even meet new people much - so dont get the chance to meet people to hit it off with...

Do you chase? from the sounds of it you mainly meet people through work, and given attitudes towards sexual harassment etc many guys may actually fancy you but simply won't approach you.  I suggest you make the first move.

I know lots of women, white women I mean, who have left here because they felt it had a lack of potential for either dating or finding a husband.  Most were quite open about it.  Life was good for them, except for that one <very important> element.

The situation is, quite honestly, that medicore to unattractive women have no corresponding demographic of mediocre to unattractive men available.  Those type of men are here in SG to be sure, but they have "other options" whether that be OT or girls from poor neighboring countries like Indo, Thai, Philippines, Vietnam, etc to get as girlfriends.

Younger, attractive white women have it good here and are chased heavily and loving it.
