Billy Joel?  The one that says something about "Catholic girls wait way too late"?
It might be called "Keeping the Faith".  Or I might be totally wrong.

Barry Manilow - Some Girls. I'm not a fan! Just adept at using the net...

Some Girls

Some girls will, some girls won't
Some girls need a lot of lovin' and some
girls don't
Well, I know I've got the fever but I don't
know why
Some say they will and some girls lie

So here I am in front of you
Not really knowing what to do
My heart is feeling something new
Nervously I turn away from you
I see the looks you're sending me
Is this the way it's meant to be?
It's something we should talk about
Just give me time to work it out

Some girls will, some girls won't
Some girls need a lot of lovin' and some
girls don't
Well, I know I've got the fever but I don't
know why
Some say they will and some girls lie

I find your company to be
Something completely new to me
Now that I know you socially
Obviously I'll fall heavily
I've seen those looks you're sending me
This is the way it's meant to be
There's nothing left to talk about
Oh, how I wish you'd work it out

Some girls will, some girls won't
Some girls need a lot of lovin' and some
girls don't
Well, I know I've got the fever but I don't
know why
Some say they will and some girls lie

I thought that was done by some dodgy 70s band called Racey!  Maybe they nicked it off Bazza.

Loops, you are right!  Further net surfing revealed that Bazza covered it. Racey did the original!

Blimey - my ability to retain useless trivia never ceases to amaze me!!!  However, never ask me anything important, because I'll be clueless

Patient:  Doctor, this song is driving me crazy - it's the one, "Delilah" by Tom Jones.  I heard it the other day and it's the only thing I can think of since.  I can't concentrate, I can't drive, I can't work.  I can't get that stupid song out of my head!
Doctor:  That's a new disease, called the Tom Jones syndrome - people hear even a mention of an old Tom Jones song, and it takes them over.  It's quite serious.
Patient:  Is it rare?

Doctor:  It's not unusual.
