In March this year, I was planning to go to Jordan for a 7-day early June.  My friend in Jordan is looking forward to seeing me. However, I didn't think that I may have to re-consider going since the current spread of MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) may worsen.  I told my friend that I will wait and see what the situation is till mid May.  Then I'll decide whether it's OK to fly to Jordan.  My concern is mostly about a possible travel ban imposed on travellers from Singapore to Jordan ( as part of the Middle East zone) if there are more cases of MERS.

Is anyone considering shelving holiday plans to the Middle East, too because of MERS?
