Hi,

Just a thought....while I was watching TV tonight...

Does anyone know if you can program your Hubstation to turn off the chinese subtitles ?

Or maybe call StarHub and ask if they can set your cable service to Chinese Subtitles - No

Helpful answers only please...

Thanks

No you can't turn it off.  Get Apple TV or something if you don't like it - Starhub censor loads of programmes too so half the time you don't get to see the whole thing and with some of the more popular programmes they stick the subtitles on in both Mandarin and Malay taking up a 3rd of the screen at the bottom and then put one of those daft information banners scrolling across the top too .............I'd forgotten how nice it was to watch something uninterrupted until we got Apple TV!

The subtitles are from the channel makers not StarHub, which is mearely a broadcaster of other people's work.

This is why, even, some channels have and some channels don't have.

Settings allows you to remove subtitles.

Press the MENU button on your remote control.
Select Settings followed by General Setting and Preferred Subtitles. Use the LEFT or RIGHT arrow button to select your preferred subtitle language.
