Has anyone had experience of renewing a passport in Singapore - My passport is full stamps everywhere.
1,how long does it take to renew?
2, Will I have to go to the employment office and get my EP stamp in new passport?
3, or, do/can I carry 2 passport with me old and new?
4, What do I need to take birth Cert.

I'm going to ring British high comm. later today but was wondering if anyone had experience on this matter.

Did mine a few months ago, as the old one was full. You can't get new pages and have to apply for a new one

1,how long does it take to renew?
I  forgot to collect mine for ages, but I think it took abt a week

2, Will I have to go to the employment office and get my EP stamp in new passport?

Yes, go to SIR and get it moved to yr new passport

3, or, do/can I carry 2 passport with me old and new?

When you collect yr new passport, they will cut the corners off the old one and stamp CANCELLED all over it.

4, What do I need to take birth Cert.
No, just yr old passport

I'm going to ring British high comm. later today but was wondering if anyone had experience on this matter.

Consular Section is only open 8.34 - 12.45 I think. Note also that you have to pay by cash at the time of application. So check the costs before you go.
