JB - city??

From what I remember, yes.  Malaysia was trying to promote JB as some modern city or something.  I remember my husband (who is a Malaysian) laughing out loud at this prospect.

Anyway, if you're interested, I can ask him.

Yep, JB is "the largest city in Malaysia after the national capital, Kuala Lumpur."

To Chichi
The train to JB is not the MRT. I think (not sure) that it's an old track dating at least back to the 60's... it was featured in that nostalgia show "Growing Up". If I'm not mistaken, the train runs on diesel, not like the MRT which is electric-powered. Some pple like it 'cos you can avoid the traffic jams that plague the Causeway, esp on weekends.
