Hi

My 18 mth old is in need of a haircut. Can anyone recommend somewhere that does kids hair, is good with kids & reasonably priced. I'm not too keen to try places like Toys r Us, would prefer somewhere quieter

Thanks

18 months old, do it yourself!

There's some place in United Square by the taxi ranks that specialises in kids haircuts.  They do kids only, no adults.  Bit like some 1970's glam rock star, in that respect.

"Little Red Dot" (formerly 'Fantastic Sam's' but with the same staff, as the franchise fees were raised too steeply). It's in the Forum Shopping Centre, close to the set of escalators at the Hard Rock Cafe end of the Forum.

It's been very popular for years for expat families (mums, dads and children) and they're used to caucasian hair.

Pout on Upper Thomson Rd.  They are amazing.  I read a blog post from somewhere and decided to give it a try.  I was not disappointed. Reasonably priced too!

I took my girl back a few weeks ago and they remembered her from a few months before and gave her another terrific haircut.

Also, they have some really awesome detangling spray...high recommend. Smiley
